Children enter first grade at a wide range of reading levels. Granite School District has adopted the reading program WONDERS to enrich reading instruction. All students will receive whole group literacy instruction on grade level. I will also meet with small groups and individual students to teach specific reading strategies at their appropriate levels. Research shows reading regularly at home improves reading skills. Thank you for taking time to read with your child each night!
